Omens?

On my way to take X-Man to daycare today, we were waylayed by a train... I was actually in a calm mood so no worries. On the way back from X's school, I got stopped again - at the same place - by another train. Again, I stayed calm (which is unlike me in the mornings). I even started taking pictures... was flipping through the ipod. Got in a good groove with the Jackson 5 "I want you back" and then the train stopped. I could see the end, but the train just stopped. I backtracked the Jackson 5 song (I really like that song, it gets me in such a good mood. What happened to Michael Jackson???), and after sitting there for 5 minutes thinking "surely the train must move," I gave up and turned around.

Is this a bad omen? Is there something in my path that I need to go around? Is it a sign that I need to slow down? Paula said to make sure I avoided crossing paths with black cats.
