Updates and more random thoughts...
Things have been pretty good since my last post. I have successfully taken my bags into the grocery stores with me at least 75% of the time. I am better when it is time for my big weekend shop but still falter during the quick trips to the store.
I am in week 6 of my Eco class...only a few more days left and still holding in there. Accounting is next...none of these I did very well as an undergrad but I seem to have acquired some knowledge in the 14 years in between so that's encouraging.
Movies I have seen lately:
Adventureland (took me back to 1987...good times)
Star Trek - surprisingly funny. I liked
Baby Mama - funny even if the ending was in my opinion not very plausible but I guess the whole movie really wasn't either
Jumper - ummm...it was fine. Not good, not bad.
I started on "Chariots of Fire" last night because Netflix instant has all these older movies and I thought I would try to get through some I hadn't seen. I am only half way through it.
A thought occurred to me the other day to blog about things I once thought were cool/attractive but now think are just very lame. I will have to add to this list but what inspired this thought was a guy with a soul patch. Back in 1991 I thought long sideburns and soul patches were hot! Now...I feel like the Luke Perry look should be put to rest, especially on men over 40.

I was pleasantly surprised by Baby Mama. Surpassed my expectations.
Here's what I remember about my accounting class. I took it as a 3 week summer course. Had three colds throughout the span of that class. I was constantly sick, coughing, sore throat, miserable. My mediocre grades reflected it. My current bookkeeping reflects it too : (
I love your idea...things I used to find hot, but now find "eh?"
I'll have to think on it.
phd - I love Tina Fey and really appreciated Greg Kinnear and Amy Poehler in the movie but the whole you can't have a baby then spontaneously conceive bit gets me. Let's just say it is a sore spot.
